Program Ham Radio Deluxe, pozwala na zdalne sterowanie radiem, z innego komputera w sieci, a także (jeśli komputer do którego podłączony jest TRX posiada IP publiczne) z dowolnego miejsca na świecie, poprzez sieć internet.
Ham Radio Deluxe program, allows for remote control of radio, from another computer on the network, and (if the computer connected to TRX has a public IP) from anywhere in the world via the Internet network.
Sam Ham Radio Deluxe pozwala na sterowanie funkcjami radia, dźwięk z i do radia musimy transmitować oddzielnym programem, ale o tym później.
Na początek uruchamiamy serwer zdalnej kontroli na komputerze do którego jest podłączony pracujący TRX.
Wchodzimy w menu Tools/Programs/Remote Servers (lub po prostu w ikonę programu “Remote” z menu).
Najpierw klikamy na guzik “Configure” i w pliku tekstowym edytujemy port którego używa nasze radio, lub po prostu usuwamy # przy wpisie “COM = COM1″ (# wyłącza wpis przy którym stoi) i dane użytkowników wg wzoru
(USER1 = nazwa_urzytkownika,hasło,macro), jak poniżej.
Zamykamy plik zapisując zmiany.
Następnie z powrotem w oknie “Remote Server” klikamy na “Install”, a potem “Start”.
Na komputerze hostującym to wszystko, Do sterowania zdalnie radiem nie potrzebujemy nawet uruchamiać HRD, serwer działa w tle.
Uwaga. W HRD jest możliwość sterowania radiem tyko przez jedną osobę jednocześnie, więc jeśli sterujemy radiem lokalnie, nikt nie podłączy się zdalnie, zaś kiedy ktoś steruje radiem zdalnie, nie będziemy mogli podłączyć się do niego lokalnie.
Przechodzimy teraz na komputer zdalny (choć równie dobrze możemy to robić na dowolnym komputerze, także tym do którego fizycznie podłączony jest trx).
W oknie łączenia z radiem, w zakładce “new” wybieramy ustawienia zgodne z naszym radiem z tym, że jako port, wybieramy “Remote”.
Po kliknięciu “connect” pojawi nam się okno, do łączenia zdalnego.
W prawej części okna w polu “Address” wpisujemy adres ip komputera na którym jest ustawiony serwer który konfigurowaliśmy do tej pory, w okienku port pozostawiamy wartość domyślną (chyba, że zmieniliśmy ją w trakcie edycji pliku konfiguracyjnego), login i hasło wpisujemy to, które ustawiliśmy w pliku konfiguracyjnym. Klikamy “Connect” potem wybieramy poniżej port (zwykle com1) i klikamy “OK”.
W tym momencie zostajemy przeniesieni z powrotem do okna łączenia z trx gdzie następuje połączenie i Ham Radio Deluxe uruchamia się tak, jak na komputerze do którego fizycznie podłączone jest radio.
Po podłączeniu pojawi nam się takze dodatkowe okienko informujące o statystykach połączenia.
Jak już wspomniałem wcześniej, tym sposobem jedynie sterujemy radiem, jeśli chcemy przesyłać także fonię (w jedną lub dwie strony), możemy posłużyć się programem skype, lub programem do tworzenia radia internetowego.
W skype sprowadza się do wybrania w opcjach audio programu skype, karty dźwiękowej i wyjścia w niej której używamy do łączenia się z trx-em (w tym miejscu warto posiadać drugą kartę audio, dzięki temu będziemy mogli jednocześnie używać normalnie komputera bez przeszkadzania w sterowaniu zdalnie radiem.
Jeśli chcemy przyłączać się do sterowania tak, żeby nie wymagało to ingerencji na komputerze hostujacym, warto także zaznaczyć w skype opcję automatycznego odbierania od osób z książki.
Jeśli nie posiadamy na komputerze bezpośrednio ip zewnętrznego, np dlatego, że dzielimy internet na kilka komputerów i to router dzialący to połączenie posiada ip publiczne, to również jest wyjście, ponieważ większość takich routerów umożliwia przekierowanie potrzebnego nam portu na wybrany komputer w sieci, wystarczy poszukać w menu routera opcji “port redirection”, “virtual server” lub podobnej i tam wpisać interesujący nas port (7805) i ip wewnętrzne komputera.

We enter to menu Tools/Programs/Remote Servers (or just into program icon “Remote” from menu). Entering the Tools menu / Programs / Remote Servers (or simply click the “Remote” from the menu).

Close the file and save changes.
Then, back in the “Remote Server” click on “Install” and then “Start” button.
On host computer its all, to control the radio remotely you not need even start the HRD, the server runs in the background.
Note. The HRD is able to control the radio only by one person at the same time, so if you control the radio locally, no one will connect remotely, but when someone is remotely controlled by radio, we can not connect to it locally.
We now move to a remote computer (although we can well do it on any computer, including those which are physically connected trx).
In the connect window, in the bookmark “new” choose the settings used by our radio, only port, witch we choose “Remote”.
After clicking “connect” appeare us a window to the remote connection.
The right of the window in the “Address” enter IP address of the server which we set so far, in the window leave the default port (unless you changed it when editing the config file), enter the login and password that have we set in the configuration file. click “Connect” and then select the following port (usually COM1) and click “OK.”
At this point, we are transferred back to the window, connect to the trx where there is a connection and Ham Radio Deluxe runs as the computer which is physically connected to the radio.
Once connected we will also inform you about additional window statistics connection.
As I mentioned earlier, the only way to control the radio, if you want to send the sound (one or two side), we have to use the skype, or program to create Internet radio.
W skype sprowadza się do wybrania w opcjach audio programu skype, karty dźwiękowej i wyjścia w niej której używamy do łączenia się z trx-em (w tym miejscu warto posiadać drugą kartę audio, dzięki temu będziemy mogli jednocześnie używać normalnie komputera bez przeszkadzania w sterowaniu zdalnie radiem. In skype we have to set in the audio options our sound card and output it we use to connect to the trx (worth to have a second sound card, so we can simultaneously use the computer normally, without disturbing the remote control radio.
