Emisje cyfrowe w HRD (cz2, makra i QSO)

Welcome to Part Two.

This time we will be finalizing settings DigitalMaster780 and demonstration of PSK31 communication issue.

And so we begin!

At the beginning we edit macros.
Macros are predefined response filing by computer during the QSO  (eg name of correspondent or his mark).
Access to edit macros can be found in Tools / Macros menu or menu between the reception and transmission window:

makra1Of course, the key “Default” may have different names, depending on the chosen set of macros.

When you click the “Manager” (or the entry by the “Tools” menu should appear in the window management macros. At my looks like this:
macros_managerNote that the macros are divided into groups, such as “Call CQ”, “Reply,” “Closing”, “Info” and possibly “Various”.

Double-clicking on the macro you want to change appears to us the macro editor window:
macros_editor
At the top we have the ability to edit (or named if we made new macro) the names of macros and assign it to the group. Here we have the macro editor window where the content type of the macro. The tags below might help us to use the macro. Tags are phrases that change automatically when you send a message to the correspondent, so we do not have to type each time a call sign in the window or the name of the correspondent as well as many other more or less useful data to the computer itself for us to complete an ongoing basis.
The right of the editing section of the macro, we have options for this macro, we can make a macro that was sent immediately after selecting , can make start macro from the new line, or cleared TX box after you paste it. Even more to the right you can select in what issues you want to use the macros (other than the selected macro becomes invisible, and (especially in the more macro) will not interfere if it is not necessary.
Once you have a macro always click ok and then again about the macro manager to save any changes.

I noticed that the not standard macros are very welcome, because it shows that he wrote them a man and is not the machine rewrites. Remember to make not too long macro that does not bother the correspondent’s stories about us and our equipment.

Once we have all the basic settings set correctly, it’s time to start QSO. And here, as usual, we have several exits, we can start a call, or answer someone’s call. When we respond, we need to find someone who is calling. For this purpose, we can (but not need) use the tool “Superbrowser” He can decodes many (all) of the QSO for which we have set up the receiver. And it looks something like this:
superbrowserAs you can see we have a preview available at the waterfall (left) and the text carried out in our communications. Let us remember that our radio will not transmit fine on whole range, so if it finds an interesting correspondent on the edge of the waterfall, you should change the frequency slightly so that we strip our correspondent found himself near the center (most transmitters working properly on 1000-2500Hz and there should be carried out communications).

When you choose a correspondent, click on it twice, we should be automatically transferred into the chat window:
qso1Now click the left mouse button on the call sign of the correspondent, and select “Callsign” sign should appear in the window “Add Log Entry” and if you have Internet access, data will be loaded when is available at qrz.com.
After entering the trade response to select the macro (the default reply / Him de Me Pse K).
qso2In TX window should appear macro supplemented with our sign and the sign of the correspondent. Then when we are sure that we no disturb,  select the button “Send F1″ or “Auto F2 (different that the Auto will automatically turn off broadcasting when reach last character).
Likewise, in later communications regarding the macro select the answer or completion of other communications.
Of course, nothing prevents us to use directly entered anything on the keyboard instead of macros.
When the  QSO is ending tag <add-log> from closing macro automatically adds the log data communication to our logbook.

Remember never disturb to talk so as not to give answers to the call, once you give someone, because if the communication of audio, skilled operator is able to pick out a sign or even part of it, so much the computer is not able to distinguish nothing and operator will have to repeat the call.

Before the first qso try practice all on  free of correspondents frequency, that when you make qso you know wher look after useful things, and to make sure that everything works as expected.
